About this article...
In 2006-2007, Andover Newton students in field education participated in a pilot course titled "The Integrative Seminar: Faith Practices in Context." Faculty lectured on the habits and actions that shape the faith life of individuals and communities. Students selected a faith practice upon which to focus over the course of the academic year in partnership with peers and a pastor-mentoradjunct faculty member. Essays in the following anthology were each written by one student selected by his or her small group to reflect in writing on field education, faith practices, and the formation of pastors and leaders for God’s church and world.
